Review this product...

Individually hand-carved so designs vary slightly, this special order from Luxor is glazed and oven-baked to give it a classical "faience" look.

Representing the God Khepri at dawn. Scarabs symbolised rebirth and resurrection after death in Ancient Egypt. Khepri was believed to renew the sun each day and roll it across the sky. Scarabs were worn as amulets by the living often with the cartouches of gods engraved on the undersides to enhance their magic powers.
